The general Terms and Conditions of Sale detailed below govern the contractual relationship between the ‘User’ (hereafter also referred to as ‘You’ or the ‘Customer’) and ‘Art JC’ (hereafter also referred to as ‘We’ or the ‘Website’), belonging to the registered company Head Turn Ltd. Both parties accept these Conditions unreservedly. These General Conditions of Sale are the only conditions that are applicable and replace all other conditions, except in the case of express written, prior dispensation. We maintain that, by confirming your order, you have read and do unreservedly accept our General Conditions of Sale. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are important to you and Art JC, as they are used to protect your rights as a valued customer and our rights as a business.


Art JC is a work in progress, and as such things may change, be added or be taken away. We reserve the right to update the Website and these Terms of Service from time to time, at our discretion and without any notice. It is solely your responsibility to keep up-to-date with the latest Terms and Conditions by checking back regularly. Your continued use of the Website following the publishing of updated Terms of Service will be taken to mean that you have read and agreed to the changes.


We work hard to ensure the Website is always available, but we can’t guarantee that the Website will not have downtime for any reason. We reserve the right to close the Website for short periods of time for general maintenance but will attempt to keep this to a minimum. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of the Website is unavailable at any time, for any length of time. Parts of the Website require you to input a password to access certain features. This is to be able to give you details relevant to your order whilst still keeping them private to you. To do this, as part of our security procedures, we require you to register an account with Art JC by entering your email and choosing a secure password. We highly recommend that you choose a strong password that is hard for others to guess, and you log out from your account at the end of every session. There is a password reset procedure in the event that you forget your password. You must treat your log-in information as confidential and not disclose it to any third-party. If you think there may have been any breach of security then it is your responsibility to notify us immediately and if log-in is possible, to change your password. It is a condition of your use of the Website that all the information you provide on the Website is correct, current and complete. We reserve the right to disable any user account in our sole discretion, at any time for any or no reason, including if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with any provision of these Terms of Service. We do not guarantee that the Website or any content provided on the Website is error-free. We manage your personal data according to our Privacy Policy.


Art JC takes great care when putting product information, descriptions and images online but will not be held responsible for any mistakes or omissions to any information given.


The prices indicated by Art JC are shown in British Pound Sterling. The delivery costs are clearly shown and invoiced at the end of the order in addition to the price of the products. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any moment but this will be indicated to you on the order at the time the order is placed. If an obviously incorrect price appears on our website and is not corrected on your total at the time of order completion, for whatever reason (human error, technical error etc.), your order will be cancelled and the payment refunded to you, even if it has been initially validated. If ordering multiple items it is possible to request separate packaging, however, please note this is subject to an additional per item charge.


Due to the nature of the items sold on this website being bespoke, shipping times may vary. If a product should become unavailable after your order has been confirmed and paid for, we will refund the price you paid for the product within 30 days following the date of payment. 

Please note if your order is required for an event such as birthday or wedding that will occur within the next 7 days please contact us prior to ordering so that we can ensure you will receive your order on-time before your event.


We cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a late delivery or the loss of a package caused by a third-party contracted to make delivery, or by you, or because of some unforeseen event. In the event that you do not receive your package, an investigation will be conducted with the carrier and may take several days upon receipt of your claim. During this period of investigation, no reimbursement or re-delivery will take place. Once the package has been located, we will either arrange for a re-delivery or replace this item, if lost by the third party delivery company. Art JC does not take responsibility for items left in a safe place by the delivery company. A request for the goods to be left in a particular place on delivery is at the customer’s own risk.  

If your order is damaged upon arrival, please send a photo of the damaged item along with your order number here. within 24 hours. 

The products bought on Art JC will be delivered to one address in mainland UK or the Isle of Man. We currently do not offer/ship our products to locations outside of mainland UK postcodes or the Isle of Man. If you would like one of our products shipped outside of the UK, please contact us with your details and we may be able to arrange something. 


All original artwork/commissions are produced to order, therefore cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed. Please see our full Returns Policy for more information. You may cancel the order of goods except for original artwork/commissions prior to dispatch and the funds will be refunded. 

Should you change your mind once you have received your order, we will refund or exchange undamaged items within 14 days of it being delivered to you. A full refund will be made to the account from which the funds were taken once we have received the item. We only accept returns of undamaged items. If the product returned is damaged, we hold the right not to refund the item. The customer holds a responsibility to return the unwanted item to us at their own cost. We advise you to pay for item tracking when returning an item. 

All goods returned to us remain the customer’s responsibility until we receive them. If the reason for the return is a damaged/faulty item, we will refund the postage cost incurred in sending the item back to us with your product refund.


Commissioned/bespoke artwork cannot be returned once they have been completed. 


We have taken care to describe the products available on this site accurately, however, please be aware the colours/grain patterns in the product pictures may vary due to the organic nature of materials the products are created with, and the nature of how colours appear on different electronic screens.

All the content on Art JC website (illustrations, texts, names, brand names, images and videos), excluding manufacturer supplied descriptions, illustrations and third-party images is the property of Art JC. Any partial or total reproduction of this content, by any means and on any support, is subject to prior and express authorisation by Art JC. All information, content and files is protected by International law concerning intellectual ownership and copyright. Art JC cannot give you the right to copy, display or distribute content that you do not have the intellectual rights to. All fraudulent use of this content that violates the rights held by a third-party constitutes an offence of forgery, which is severely punished under the Intellectual Property Code. Art JC will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible if a user violates rights held by a third party through their activities on the site.


Any failure of Art JC to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The Terms of Service constitutes the entire agreement between you and Art JC, and governs your use of the service, superseding any prior agreements (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service). If any provision of these Terms of Service is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms of Service will continue in full force and effect.


Any opinions left on the Website by Art JC customers are screened and moderated by Art JC. If the comments infringe on the law or are inappropriate (abusive publicity, defamation, insults, out of context commentary…), Art JC reserves the right to refuse or modify it.


We aim to ensure that all of our products leave us in great condition and are packaged with care before they are posted out to you. If your item has arrived damaged or faulty please let us know within 3 days using our website contact form.

We do not offer returns for the following items:

Originals / Commissions

For all other items we offer a 14 days return from the date you receive your order for a refund or exchange. You can exchange an item for one of the same value or use the value as credit on another item.

Please be sure to return your item(s) in the original packaging in the same condition as you received them, otherwise we are unable to refund or exchange your item. 

Please obtain a 'Proof of Postage' receipt before returning, in case anything should happen to the item(s) during shipping.


Will I have to pay postage for my returned item?

Yes, you will need to pay postage on any returns sent to us - unless an item is faulty or received in error, in which case please contact us.

Art JC is a small business and we cannot offer free returns at this time, hopefully we can do this in the future!

Can I exchange an item for a different item?

Some items may include a different returns policy, so please get in touch with your enquiry. 

What if the item I request to exchange for is out of stock?

If we do not have the item in stock that you ask for in exchange, we will automatically refund you the full amount paid.

Will my shipping fee be refunded?

Unfortunately, no shipping costs can be refunded. 

We cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of any returned parcels, so please keep your 'Proof of Postage' receipt for your records.
